The Saugus Police Department had a great time escorting the first graders from the Veterans School to the Saugus Public Library. Last week we escorted three groups of first graders from the Veterans School on Hurd Ave to the Saugus Public Library in Saugus Center. The kids were then treated to a read-a-loud by the children’s librarian. They were also given a tour of the library and were told about some upcoming events and programs that the library was hosting. A great time was had by all.
