Chief Michael Ricciardelli is proud to share that five Saugus Police Officers will run the Boston Marathon this year in support of various charities. 

“All together, these five officers have already raised over $50,000 for the various charities they are running for,” said Chief Ricciardelli. “The Saugus Police Department is very proud of these five officers and the efforts they are making to better the lives of others and the world around them.”

Those running the Marathon are:

Officer Allison Cooper

Officer Cooper is running for The Herren Project, which focuses on helping individuals and families who have been affected by substance use disorder find access to treatment and recovery. To donate to the cause, click here.

Lt. Anthony Lopresti

Lt. Lopresti is running for Tedy Bruschi’s charity team, Tedy’s Team, whose mission is to improve the quality of life for stroke survivors, and also to help with their recovery.
